Terms of Service

We’re here to make your event seamless, elevated, and coffee-filled — these terms simply help everything run smoothly behind the scenes.

Booking & Payment

To reserve your event date, a signed agreement and a 50% non-refundable deposit are required.

Your date is not secured until the deposit is received.

The remaining balance is due 3 days prior to your event. Late payments may result in cancellation of services.

What's Included

Your service includes everything outlined in your custom quote or invoice.

If you’d like to add anything after booking, we’re happy to accommodate when possible — additional services may require updated pricing.

Event Details & Updates

Accurate event details (guest count, timing, location, access, etc.) are essential to a smooth experience.

Any changes after booking may affect staffing, setup, or pricing and must be communicated in advance.

Service Time

Service is provided for the time agreed upon in your proposal.

If you’d like to extend service, we’ll do our best to accommodate based on availability.

Additional time is billed hourly.

Setup & Venue Requirements

To operate properly, we require:

  • Adequate space for setup
  • Safe and accessible working conditions
  • Access to power and/or water (if applicable)
  • Nearby parking and reasonable access to the service location

If these requirements are not met, service may be delayed, limited, or modified.

Cancellations

All deposits are non-refundable.

If your event is canceled, the deposit will be retained and no additional refunds will be issued.

Weather & Unexpected Situations

While we always do our best to show up and serve, safety comes first.

In cases of severe weather or conditions outside of our control, service may be delayed, modified, or considered fulfilled.

Responsibility & Conduct

Clients are responsible for any damage to equipment caused by guests, vendors, or venue staff.

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service if conditions are unsafe, inappropriate, or harmful to staff or equipment.

General

We do not guarantee guest attendance or beverage consumption.

Full payment is required regardless of turnout.

Text Messaging (SMS) Communication

By opting into our SMS communication services, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Consent and Opt-In
    1. You consent to receive SMS messages from Carrier Coffee by:
      1. Providing your phone number and accepting the opt in policy during registration or service inquiry.
  2. Message Frequency
    1. You may receive SMS messages throughout your service duration.
  3. Opt-Out Instructions
    1. You can opt out of SMS communication at any time by replying “STOP” to any message. You may also contact us directly to request cessation of messages.
  4. Privacy Policy
    1. All personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  5. Cost Information
    1. Standard message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier. You are responsible for any charges incurred for receiving SMS messages.
  6. Campaign Description
    1. Our SMS communication is designed to keep you informed about:
      1. Appointment confirmation and reminders
      2. Service updates
      3. Billing notifications
      4. General business communication
  7. Data Protection
    1. Your data is securely hosted by 17hats and its texting provider, Bandwidth. We take measures to ensure your data is protected from unauthorized access.
    2. Data Protection: Your personal information (including mobile opt-in data) will never be sold or freely given to third parties. No mobile information will be shared with third parties / affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
  8. Changes to Terms
    1. These terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of SMS services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Final Agreement

Final service terms, details, and legal protections are outlined in the official client agreement provided at booking, which supersedes these general terms.
